Important Information - 6th July 2010

The main patient system - eCaMIS/CaMIS(PMS)/Radiology will be UNAVAILABLE between 17:30 and Midnight (06/07/10) for a essential upgrade to version 17.

Any systems that are fed by eCaMIS/PMS data (e.g Symphony/PACS/Phillips CVIS) will be working but partially effected. Please make any arrangements for contingency system working as necessary to your area.

Introduction
The Web Clinical Viewer product allows GPs to access Trust held electronic patient records. The data that is available includes Pathology results, Xray reports, Endoscopy Reports, Inpatient and Outpatient information, A&E contacts, Theatre Details and Clinic and Discharge letters also.
 
At the moment the system is a bit basic but will easily allow you information on your patients. There is a restriction built into the system that means that GPs can only see patients that are registered (according to the hospital system) at their practice. We are investigating ways to automate this to ensure this is as accurate as possible.

Web CV Questionnaire
A Web Clinical Viewer Questionnaire was recently carried out to identify problems with the system, and possible future developments that could be made to it to improve functionality. The results are included here:
