As an organisation we are named as the Acute Organisation of the Year by the Health Service Journal and one of the Top 100 health employers. We are also one of only a few Hospital Trusts throughout the country to have attained the Investors in People (IIP) Standard.

Our annual staff surveys also show high levels of staff satisfaction. There are of course areas we can improve and we are working on those.

Our vision

Our overall vision is to contribute to the Trust’s vision of putting patients first. We aim to do this by providing HR services which enable the employment of trained, competent and motivated staff working together in sufficient numbers to provide high quality health care. We will achieve this through:
