The Women’s Breast Care Fund Tulip Appeal

The Women’s Breast Care Fund (WBCF) Tulip Appeal was set up in 2004 by a group of women, most of whom had undergone surgery for breast cancer.

WBCF raises money for the Breast Care Unit at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital and helps towards providing new equipment, as identified by the consultants and nursing staff. We also fund the ‘little extras’ needed to maintain a friendly, homely environment for the care of breast cancer patients within this exceptional care centre.

Volunteer with us or help us to raise funds

If you are able to help us fundraise in any way, however small, or would like to volunteer with us then we would love to hear from you. We are a small friendly group of ladies who have been touched by breast cancer and want to give something back to the Unit. Your help will enable us to contribute towards maintaining the high-quality service, ambience and environment that so many patients have been able to benefit from during a distressing time in their lives.
