Time to Talk bereavement support group

A special group where you can share your personal experiences of bereavement and loss and receive compassionate and caring support will take place at the Royal Bournemouth Hospital (RBH) next week.

The second meeting of ‘Time to Talk’ will be on Thursday 29 August at 6.30pm, in the Oasis Café at RBH. The idea for the group was devised by hospital staff and volunteers who specialise in end of life care. They will take turns to lead the groups and support attendees.

Rev’d David Flower, Lead Chaplain at RBH, led the first group. He said: “Death can often be a taboo subject but we know talking about it can really help people. You don’t need to be religious to join us, and if you just want to come and listen, you’d be very welcome.”

Refreshments will be provided and parking is free. Contact timetotalk@rbch.nhs.uk for more information.
