Newly qualified nurses invited to recruitment day at Royal Bournemouth Hospital

The Royal Bournemouth Hospital (RBH) is hosting a recruitment event for newly qualified nurses on Saturday 5 October with jobs being offered on the day.

The event is an opportunity for nurses to find out what it’s like to work at RBH, have a tour of the hospital and meet the teams in the areas they’d like to work. Nurses who have recently qualified will also be on hand to talk to applicants about support and mentorship via the Trust’s preceptorship development programme and appraisal system.

Sue Davies, Directorate Matron for Surgery, said: “We’re really looking forward to welcoming newly qualified nurses to meet #TeamRBCH and find out what it’s like to work here. The day aims to give them a true taste of what it’s like to work at our Trust.

“Current vacancies include positions in acute medicine (the Emergency Department and Acute Medical Unit), stroke services, older person’s medicine, surgical speciality wards, emergency surgery, theatres and anaesthetics and cancer care.

“We’re really excited to show off what we have here so come along and help us make the Royal Bournemouth Hospital a great place to work.”

Those wishing to attend the day should sign up at www.rbch.nhs.uk/careers. Lunch is provided.
