Giving our staff Freedom to Speak Up (FTSU)

Speak up - we will listen and help

If you have a concern and you are unable to resolve it with your line manager, or if you feel you are not being listened to, the FTSU service may be for you.

The team, led by Helen Martin (above), offers confidential advice for anyone with concerns about patient safety or the way their concerns have been handled.

You may feel worried about raising a concern, and we understand this. But please don’t be put off. If you raise a genuine concern, you will not be at risk of losing your job or suffering any form of reprisal.

Our senior leaders and entire board are committed to an open and honest culture. We will look into what you say and you will always have access to support that you need.

We'll help ensure that organisational policies and processes are in place and followed correctly. We will not investigate but we will support you in raising a concern.

We're here for everyone.
