#HereForYou this bank holiday Monday

22 May 2020

NHS services are #HereForYou for you this coming bank holiday Monday, so please make sure you get the help you need despite the Covid-19 pandemic.

Although there may be different ways to access services, pharmacies, minor injuries units, and hospital emergency departments are all available for people who need them.

If you need help from an Urgent Treatment Centre or Minor Injuries Unit (MIU) please call 01305 762541 or 111 and you will be given advice or booked in for a face-to-face appointment at the appropriate site. You can no longer walk into these services.

If you or someone you are with has an emergency or is in a life-threatening situation, don’t hesitate, call 999. For everything else, call 111 or go to 111 online.

Pharmacists and their teams are an essential part of the NHS - please check the NHS website or your pharmacy’s own website for details.

As well as looking after your physical health, looking after your mental health is equally important. If you need support, there are a number of ways you can get help. Visit the Dorset HealthCare website www.dorsethealthcare.nhs.uk for more information, or call the 24/7 Connection helpline on 0300 123 5440. Online support is also available on the Steps2Wellbeing website – www.steps2wellbeing.co.uk
